MY HISTORY
I am originally from Brazil and my passion for quality software started in my first project working as a Test Analyst Junior, I sincerely enjoy working with testing and all the process and challenges it brings with, like testing estimation, reports, test plans and test strategies. I’ve built my career in a variety of industries and in different countries, but always with focus on the software functional quality area, I am not just another “tester” but also a quality analyst/consultant and I consider myself a critical thinker who knows how to think from a customer’s perspective.
While in Brazil I had the opportunity to work for two companies: Stefanini and E-core, where I worked allocated to important projects respectively at Dell and Bunge. In both projects/companies I always had great feedback from team members and management, which helped me to grow and develop as a Software Quality Analyst.
In 2013 I moved to New Zealand with my husband and son. In NZ, I worked for a company called Assurity, and was allocated to the IRD (New Zealand Inland Revenue Department) where I spent some years working in different projects, where I also had the opportunity to develop my knowledge on some different Test/Project Management tools such as Zephyr, Jira and Confluence. And I developed even further in my career and became a Senior Test Analyst. In NZ, I started to become proud of my own work because the great feedback kept coming in and I thought I could not grow further in my career.
Then, an opportunity came up to my husband and we decided to move to Europe, more specifically, the Netherlands. The reason we moved is because Europe is closer to Brazil than NZ. There, I had the chance to work for a company called Bright Answers as a Quality Analyst and I was responsible for implementing and ensuring the quality of the software developed. I created a test strategy and became responsible for all testing processes. My mission was to prove that the quality of the products delivered increased after I became responsible for the quality of it. And I am proud to say that my mission was accomplished successfully.
Then, in 2019 me and my husband decided to move to the UK. He works for Amazon and they offered him the opportunity to be transferred. We decided it would be good, as we have family living here in the UK. My last job was as a Trainee Developer, where I had the opportunity to work remotely for a company called Cromwell, and I also worked with GIT control, I’ve learned more about the programming world, but I also realized how much I love working with testing and decided to go back to the testing world.
So, here I am, I live in Bury Saint Edmunds-UK, I am keeping myself busy with online courses, and I am thrilled at the possibility of being involved in functional testing again and would love the opportunity to discuss the value that I can bring to your organization.

Zephyr champion for team – Bianca took on the task of getting to grips with a testing product that was new to the whole team and demonstrated leadership in this area, becoming the go-to person for Zephyr functionality, and sharing her knowledge with the team.
Willingness to improve understanding of a topic – Bianca eagerly engages test SMEs to understand her testing scope and to increase her IR knowledge (e.g. interaction with Lau)
